Fantasy

Talking about "Fantasy" means to the most (I know some of them), those exaggerated legends from the very-past.

So stories about...
...evil monsters...
...heros, fighting for the good...
...magical creatures...
...unbelievable events from a distant land and time...

All of this is Fantasy!
It's about seem-to-be-facts, where it doesn't matters why it is as it is, but that it is!

The entire topic "fantasy" is both fascinating and laughable.
But, espicially I'm interested in the so-called "evil monsters", or, in policitcal correct words:
Mythical Creatures!

I think: Such Creatures, and the context, in which they appear, are simply fascinating.
But thinking about the bad reputation, so I think, that it's a typical "scapegoat"-case.

The people in the ancient and mid-age found a easy way.
Always, if something happens, they cannot explain, then they just said, that any god/deomon/whatever was causing it, because he/she/it was once more a little angry.
And due the lack of scientific explanations, there must be quickly somekind of imaginations to be blamed.

(By the way: In that times, Drugs were free-sold and wide spread!)

But back to the points, concerning me.

Those who already read (or began to read) one of my stories, they may noticed, that I usually, even not always, talk about fairytale creatures, that I show in a friendly, rational and peace-loving way. Most of the time, espicially the main characters, I apply those a human-like-mind.

The joke is, that I use characters, which, additional to the usual adventure-stuff, must also handle the prejutices and other well-known legend-things, while on their journey.
But, on the other hand, they got the sweet little ability-"extensions", we humans can only dream about.

My favourite of theese creatures is the West-Dragon

Perfectly to the legend-defaulties. So something like that:
But aside theese creatures, there are many other kinds of creatures, that I like to use positivly in my stories. So, for example, the griffins.

OK, I use those "original" creatures seldomly.
Often I dervivate new sub-types from theese creatures (espicially dragons), or "build" new creatures.

At last the most important fact:
Due my stories, the bonus-material or the pages here, it may seem, that I believe in those mythology-creatures. But I must respond:
No, it isn't!
I'm convinced, that those creatures were fantasy and will be fantasy in the future!
I'm just fascinated by the imagination about them!
